Front Mission 1st Remake Game Review

In the year 2090, world wars are fought using giant war machines called Wanzers. Huffman Island is the location of you can find the Oceania Cooperative Union, (O.C.U.), can be located. Huffman Island is only island where the Oceania Cooperative Union (O.C.U.) and Unified Continental States are allowed to live together. The border between Canada and the Continental United States (U.C.S.) and Canada is a zone of intense conflict.

A O.C.U. reconnaissance unit headed by Captain Royd Clive is tasked to look into the activities of a U.C.S. munitions plant. They U.C.S. ambush them. They are surrounded by U.C.S. The Wanzers. The incident triggers a series of events which plunges all of the island into conflict. Royd’s fiancee, Lieutenant Karen Meure, goes missing in action.

Retired from the military Royd decides to explore the events that took place to Karen. The investigation leads him to towards the conspiracy that led to the tragedy and the forces that created it.

With hundreds of characters to encounter, its mature narrative and non-Manichean-based protagonists Front Mission is one of the best examples of the tactical Japanese RPG style, and is now accessible worldwide.
